27th August- from Connecticut, USA- the fabulous Jeff Barnhart with Anne Barnhart and Ceri Williams (not from Connecticut)
Those of you who saw Jeff last time witnessed the club piano being worked over like nothing before. This incredible performer storms through the repertoire of Jelly Roll Morton, Scott Joplin, Fats Waller and the great early stride and blues pianists. His humour and joie de vivre is infectious and his technique, dazzling. Joined by his wife Anne for a couple of numbers on flute, they form the duo 'Ivory and Gold'. Jeff has recorded prolifically and is one of the busiest performers on this and the other side of the pond. £6/£8

The track you'll hear if you hit play below is Breeze played by the Good Ol' Spit & Dribble Jass Band and is fondly dedicated to the memory of the late great Bob Gribble. There is A video now in the audio and video section.
